Warm-hearted Nanny – 1 day/week – Herrliberg

Lampentasche is a specialist nanny agency in Switzerland. We are looking for a nanny for a warm-hearted family with a 4-year-old daughter and a baby who is expected at the beginning of the new year. The start date is as soon as possible. The family lives in a spacious flat with a garden in Herrliberg and is interested in a long-term nanny.

Responsibilities:

• Caring of the 4-year-old-daughter (and later the baby) on Thursdays or Fridays from 09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.
• The working day begins with supporting the mom with the baby, then preparing lunch and picking up the daughter from kindergarten
• After a break, an active programme of age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors in the afternoon can be planed with a focus on the older daughter
• Excursions in the surrounding area are possible (playground, forest, lake, farm, zoo, etc.)
• Preparation of a healthy Zvieri and dinner upon agreement
• A brief handover with feedback at the end of the working day is desirable
• Additional assignments in the evening or at weekends are possible by arrangement

Requirements:

• Extremely caring, reliable and responsible person with a warm-hearted manner
• Calm and patient manner with children who also understands to implement family rules
• Confident in behaving discreetly and tidily in a private household
• Several years of experience working with children, either in a similar role or, for example, in a nursery/kindergarten; alternatively, an experienced mother whose children have already left home would also be suitable
• English on mother tongue level or fluent knowledge
